Donate to Christel A. Schoenfelder Scholarship

Christel A. Schoenfelder was a devoted member of the Kids’ Chance of California Board of Directors, an accomplished workers’ compensation attorney, and a tireless advocate for injured workers and their families. Christel passed away on November 29, 2025, following a courageous battle with cancer.

The Christel A. Schoenfelder Scholarship was established to honor Christel’s life, advocacy, and enduring legacy. The scholarship supports students whose parents have been seriously or fatally injured on the job and who demonstrate resilience, academic dedication, and a commitment to community service. These qualities reflect Christel’s lifelong mission, values, and spirit.
