After my father’s brain injury, things really changed in my life, financially and in the dynamics of my family. My father was the primary provider for my family, which meant that things got tight after his injury. College had always been the next step for me. I wasn’t sure how we would afford it after his injury. Kids’ Chance of California has generously relieved some of that stress of paying for college, making the choice to pursue a higher education that much easier. This opportunity has given me the chance to pursue my dreams of becoming a teacher and teaching the next generation.
