Kids’ Chance of California
Scholarship Recipient

I grew up and attended elementary school in the city of La Mirada, California. My journey in engineering from high school to college started at a young age, when I was introduced to Project Lead The Way STEM workshops by my godfather and mentor. With a friend, we attended these workshops at the USC campus. While attending St John Bosco High School, I was accepted into the engineering pathway. This was one of my favorite classes. It challenged me to find practical solutions to problems while also helping me make sense of how things work.

Now that I’m in college, at RIT, I’m excited to continue my educational journey in Mechanical Engineering. I’m beyond grateful with the opportunity Kids’ Chance is giving me with this scholarship, as it helps pay for tuition expenses and ensures my future in college is stable. I’m looking forward to working hard towards my degree as my sophomore year begins this fall.

Thanks again, Kids’ Chance of California, for this huge gift. I will keep in touch.
