My journey has been one of perseverance, hope, and the belief that education can change my future. Growing up in Salinas, California, I’ve had to balance school with sports. It hasn’t always been easy; there have been times when I felt overwhelmed, but I’ve always held on to my dream of building a career that will allow me to give back to my community. Receiving the California Kids’ Chance scholarship means more than just financial help; it feels like someone sees my potential and believes in me. This support allows me to focus on my studies without the constant worry of how I’ll afford tuition or the resources I need. It’s a reminder that I’m not alone in this journey.

This opportunity fuels my determination to work hard, reach my academic goals, and make the most of the chances I’ve been given. I hope my story inspires other students facing challenges to keep going because with perseverance and the right support, our dreams are within reach.
