Receiving the Kids’ Chance of California Scholarship has been an exceptional benefit for both me and my family. Having my entire senior year of college fully funded lifted a significant financial burden, especially for my parents. My father has been unable to return to work following a total lung transplant, and my mother works in a low-wage job to support me. This scholarship has not only made my academic journey less stressful but has also allowed me to thrive. I’ve maintained a high GPA, participated in research programs, and saved enough to study abroad at the University of Birmingham, a prestigious global institution.

These opportunities would have been incredibly difficult without this financial support. The scholarship is also enabling me to save for graduate school, opening doors to programs I never thought I could consider. The success I’ve achieved as a student is due in large part to the generosity and support of the Kids’ Chance Scholarship.
