Since getting your incredible news, I have been taking it all in. My daily life revolves around my classes and school activities at CBU …to know this next year I will be okay is a wave of relief!

The last several semesters were a struggle making tuition deadlines, so this is a big difference in my year, as well as feeling encouraged and valued. It’s so significant and means more than words can express.

I have Applied Engineering and Statistics courses I’m taking in the fall, and am planning on registering for a conference in October that offers summer internships. One field I have been working towards is Assistive Devices. These technologies improve the daily routines of those recovering from injuries or living with physical limitations. Exploring this path could lead to design and improvements on mobility aids, prosthetics, and diagnostic equipment.

Thank you for understanding my dad’s absence as l’ve grown up. His on-the-job death changed the course for my whole family. I can truly say what makes Kids’ Chance unique is the support and empowerment you give. You’ve helped me continue my vision and purpose, and you are a compassionate force in my educational journey.
