2025 Video Contest
For Kids’ Chance of California Scholarship Recipients:
We’re excited to launch the 9th Annual Faces of Kids’ Chance of California (KCCA) Video Contest – an opportunity for you to earn more money toward your scholarship.
Many of you have expressed how your KCOCA scholarship has helped to reduce your financial burden and allow you to focus on your studies. Now is your opportunity to pay it forward and help us spread the word to other college students that need our help, as well as let our sponsors know how important their donations are to you and your families.
We’re looking for fresh faces and new videos. Please consider creating a short video over your upcoming holiday break and enter to win additional scholarship funds for the Spring 2025 semester.
Deadline to submit a video for consideration is Thursday, January 31, 2025
How to Enter:
Create a 2-4-minute video explaining the following:
- The story of your parent’s injury or fatality
- Your current college pursuits (college name, your major, etc.)
- How your Kids’ Chance of California scholarship has helped you
Be creative with your video. Here are a few examples!
Upload your video:
- Visit wetransfer.com and select the WeTransfer FREE file sending option.
- To upload, select the “Add your files” button at the top.
- In the “Email to” section, enter info@kidschanceca.org.
- In the “Your email” section, enter your email.
- In the “Message” section, enter your first and last name.
- Select “Transfer” to submit your video to the Faces of Kids’ Chance of California Video Contest.
Deadline to submit a video for consideration is Thursday, January 31, 2025
Prizes Awarded:
- First Place Award – $500
- Second Place Award – $250
- Third Place Award – $100
Video Submission Deadline: January 31, 2025
What if you don’t win? You’ll get $50 just for submitting a usable video!
*The award funding will be sent directly to your student account at the college where you are currently enrolled. If you haven’t submitted a signed photo release in the past 12 months, you will be asked to do so before any award can be made.
